Welcome to
Calvary Chapel Oxford
We are one of a worldwide network of over 2,000 Calvary
Chapel Churches. These fellowships grew out of the 'Jesus
movement' that began in California in the late 1960s.
Calvary Chapel is not a denomination but a fellowship
of churches who share in a distinct philosophy of ministry.
Calvary Chapel Oxford began in 2001 under the call and
direction of the Holy Spirit. We are committed to systematic
expository bible teaching and uphold the principle that
Christ will build his church. Through loving Christian
fellowship, we seek to stimulate one another towards righteousness,
acknowledging that our highest goal is the glory of God.
We hope you find the site useful and look forward to
meeting you at one of our Sunday meetings, where you will
be most welcome.
Philip J Vickery,
Pastor/Teacher
